mixed experience DUE to noise and stairs

the noise was UNACCEPTABLE. my room faced the street, so i heard traffic ALL night. also, lugging my suitcase up several flights of stairs to reach the reception was inconvenient. aLSO, There wasn't any mention of the need to climb stairs before arriving.

the location was perfect for exploring. i could easily walk to the main train station and all the main attractions. the staff was helpful and spoke english, i appreciated that.. it made communication easy.

i can't think of anything negative to mention about this hotel. it fully met my expectations.

mixed feelings about my stay

small roommusty smell

The room was smaller than expected, it had clearly seen better days. a strange musty smell lingered in the hallway, which i found off-putting. also, the soundproofing was practically nonexistent. I heard every street noise and neighboring conversation. it seems my expectations were a bit too high for the price.
